Rosetta is one of Australia’s most elegant and sophisticated Italian restaurants. The impressive Iain Halliday-designed space is a glamorous destination for a premium dining experience.

Tegan Kocijan is our Head Chef. After completing his apprenticeship at Bluestone on Flinders Lane in Melbourne he worked at Rockpool Bar & Grill Sydney for two and a half years, before joining Rosetta in February 2017 as a Chef de Partie. Tegan was promoted to Head Chef in May 2021.

Our dress code at our Rosetta is smart-casual.

We can cater for most dietaries. Please make note of your special dietary requirements when you make your online booking, and let your server know once you have been seated.

We have a range of delicious handmade desserts at Rosetta. If you prefer to bring your own cake for a celebration, we charge a $9 cakage fee.

We have halal-certified meat on the menu, however, there is no separate halal preparation space in our kitchens.

Our house-made pasta is a signature aspect of the menu – it’s hand-made daily by our Sfoglina.

We are well known for our secondi, or main dishes, from the charcoal grill including line-caught market fish and Cape Grim steaks such as our Tuscan-inspired Bistecca all Fiorentina – a 1kg T-bone.

Our wood-fired oven is another key component of the kitchen and is responsible for dishes such as our slow-roasted free range pork belly Porchetta. Our house-made dolci is irresistible, especially panna cotta which changes seasonally, and our tiramisu which is a mainstay of the dessert menu.

Rosetta is a licensed restaurant with a phenomenal wine and bar beverage list. We don’t offer a BYO service.

We do not offer a children’s menu. However, there are a few dishes we can offer to children, including rigatoni with cheese and butter, or sugo, or bolognaise. We can usually offer spaghetti meatballs for the older children (there is a little chilli in the meatballs themselves).

We don’t have highchairs.
